Forty is looking mighty fine for Soren Kjeldsen.

The Dane who hit the big 4-0 two weeks ago, but who has not won an European Tour event since 2009, shot 4-under on Saturday to reach 7-under for the tournament, giving him a two-stroke lead over Max Kieffer and Rafa Cabrera-Bello.

Three straight birdies by Kjeldsen on 11, 12, and 13, were his best work on Saturday.

He was tied with five others atop the leader board on Friday, but all of them fell back, with only Cabrera-Bello remaining close.

Meanwhile, Kieffer fired a course record 65 to rise up the charts and give himself a shot for a title on Sunday.
