Na, Kelly Tied for Players Lead at 8-under

Kevin Na shot a second straight brilliant round, and relative unknown Jerry Kelly exploded up the leaderboard on Friday, which ended with the two men tied for the lead at the PLAYERS Championship at 8-under.
Kelly, ranked 127th in the world, fired a 65 to jump 53 spots up the leaderboard. He was 4-under at the turn and birdied the 17th to reach 7-under on the round.
Na shot a 69 after a bouncy start, beginning his round with a bogey, birdie, birdie, bogey, birdie sequence.
The co-leaders are up two strokes over four others, including American Rickie Fowler who fired his second straight 69.
World No. 1 Rory McIlroy shot an ordinary 71 to fall two spots to a tie for 13th at 4-under.
With the cut set at even-par, Tiger Woods just slipped into the weekend field with his 73-71 -144. Woods was in jeopardy of missing the cut before birdying 15 and 16 to get back under par.
The biggest surprises on the cut list were Justin Rose (+1), Jordan Spieth (+3), and Phil Mickelson (+5).
