Jordan Spieth shattered record after record this weekend at Augusta, and walked away with the green jacket he’s been coveting since he first started playing golf.

The 21-year-old Texas native completed a remarkable four days with his second straight 2-under 70 to tie Tiger Woods’ Masters record, finishing with an 18-under 270 and winning the first Major of 2015 by four strokes over Justin Rose and Phil Mickelson, who have four Masters titles between them.

Rose, the 2013 US Open champion, moved within three strokes after two holes on Sunday and was there again when Spieth made a bogey on No. 4, but never got the lead any closer than that.

He and Mickelson both finished at 14-under, a score that would have won 74 of the 79 Masters tournaments in history.

World No. 1 Rory  McIlroy had the best closing round, a 6-under 66, to climb to fourth, finishing at 12-under, six shots back. McIlroy failed in his bid to win three straight Majors.
