Vegas High on Jordan Spieth for Augusta
Rory McIlroy might be No. 1 in the world and Bubba Watson the defending champion, but the talk in gambling circles is on Jordan Spieth as The Masters looms one week away.
Spieth has risen to 10-to-1 odds to win the Masters, second only to McIlroy’s 6-to-1. According to Vegas casinos, Spieth has had the most money placed on him to this point.
Watson is also listed at 10-to-1. Off to a slow start before Thursday’s Shell Houston Open, Phil Mickelson, a three-time Masters champion, has fallen to 25-to-1 odds, while Tiger Woods, who still hasn’t even decided if he’s playing or not, is at 40-to-1.
