Fox Golf Kicks off Saturday
For the first time in just short of two decades, a new TV station in the US will be broadcasting golf as Fox Sports makes its debut on Saturday with the Shark Shootout.
The network will do trial runs on Thursday and Friday, then carry Saturday’s final round live on Saturday, with Joe Buck and Greg Norman on the mike.
Fox will broadcast the entire 2015 US Open, stealing its rights away from CBS last year.
Fox will also employ a full-time rules expert for controversial issues, with David Fay fitting that role.
