A New World No.1?

Three players have the chance to overtake current World No.1, Adam Scott, with a win at this weeks Open Championship.

Swedish Golfer, Henrik Stenson would move up to top spot with a win, as long as Scott finishes outside the top 3. If home favorite Justin Rose wins, he rises to the top of the world if Scott fails to be in the top six. If Masters Champion Bubba Watson wins his second Major of the year, he becomes World No.1 if Scott fails to be in the top 15.

Stenson, can also reach the summit with a second palce finish, as long as Rose or Watson wins, and Scott finishes outside the top 17.

It’s all to play for this week, as the worlds elite look to dethrone reigning World No.1 Adam Scott’s 9 week run at the top.
