With all the focus on Tiger Woods, someone forgot to notice Rickie Fowler until it was too late.

The American fired a 61 on Sunday to win the Hero World Challenge by 4 strokes over three-day leader Charley Hoffman. Fowler finished 18-under par and won $10 million. He was down seven strokes to start the round but recorded seven straight birdies to take his second win of the year.

“Finally just kind of got everything to piece together,” said Fowler.

Despite back-to-back bogeys to end his round, Woods shot a 68 to tie for ninth.

“I’m excited,” Woods said. “This is the way I’ve been playing at home.”

Hoffman finished second at 14-under and Race to Dubai winner Tommy Fleetwood was third at 12-under. Fleetwood is getting married in The Bahamas on Tuesday.

PGA 2017 Player of the Year Justin Thomas charted Woods’ progress as his partner for rounds 1 and 4.

“He’s got a lot of energy. It’s just so weird to say that you’re excited for somebody else’s year, but it will be a fun year. And I hope we dual it out a lot this upcoming year.”
