A 64 made its mark for the fourth straight day at the Made in Denmark Tournament, with American Julian Suri winning on the European Tour for the first time in his career. Suri shot a 64 to finish 19-under and win the tournament by four strokes. It’s just his seventh career start on the European Tour.

The finish was a lot closer than it looked. Playing along David Horsey, Suri had a one-stroke lead going to No. 18, but Horsey floundered and ended his weekend with a triple bogey.

Suri turned in a flawless card on Sunday, hitting seven birdies.

“It was a blast out there. Especially in that atmosphere with the fans. It was really cool,” he said.

“Everybody is so enthusiastic out there, with such genuine appreciation for the game and spectacle. I just wanted to soak it up as much as I could.”

The win puts Suri at #60 in the Race to Dubai standings – the cutoff point for the tournament which starts in about a month. Finishing second moved Horsey into the Top 60 as well at No. 56.
