Rain swept through Glendower Golf Course for a second straight day, but South Africa’s Keith Horne managed to complete his second round and move into a first-place tie at the BMW SA Open at 8-under.

Only half the players in the top 10 of the leaderboard finished their second round, which means another busy morning on Saturday. Horne made the most of a little, shooting a bogey-free round with three birdies, two on the back nine.

He’s tied for first with Branden Grace, who was 8-under when play was suspended for him on the 13th hole. Grace started the round with four straight birdies and had racked up six in the first 11 holes.

Not surprisingly, South Africans continue to dominate the field, with eight among the top 10 on the leader board, including Retief Goosen who shot a second-round 72 to finish at 4-under.

As of Friday evening in South Africa, the tentative cut was set at 2-over.
