FedEx Field Shrinks to 70 Headed to Chicago

Just like that, the FedEx Cup field has gone from 125 players down to 70. In two short weeks, the field has been cleaved nearly in half, with 30 players cut following the Deutsche Bank Championship.

The next cut will be even harsher, whittling the field down to just 30 finalists for the TOUR Championships in Atlanta.

Caught on the wrong side of the most recent cut included the likes of: Luke Donald, Jason Dufner, and Davis Love III.

George McNeill sneaks in at No. 70, down 14 spots from a week ago. Defending champion Billy Horschel just barely made the cut, dropping from 53rd to 67th at 907 points.
