Jhonattan Vegas fired a 5-under 66 to jump into a tie for the lead at the GreenbrierĀ  Classic Friday, tying Scott Langley at 9-under.

Vegas had five birdies and no bogeys to lead the pack and tie Langley, who followed up his 62 on Thursday with a 1-under 69.

With a healthy cut line at 2-under, it’s safe to say that every man left in the field is still in contention for the title, including 14-time Major winner Tiger Woods, who was 1-under on Saturday and is 5-under for the tournament, tied for 26th in a clump of players that also includes last week’s Travellers’ Championship winner Bubba Watson.

Woods had three bogeys on the back nine Friday, but countered each with a birdie in turn.

The best round of the day belonged to American Bryce Molder and Canadian David Hearn, who each shot a 64 to jump from a tie for 48th to a tie for third at 8-under.

Molder had just one bogey on the day, and fired four birdies in five holes on the back nine. Hearn also made mince meat of the back nine, racking up six birdies between No. 10 and No. 17.
